Denver's homebuying program raises income limits

May 17, 2017

Good news for low and moderate income homebuyers in Denver.

The city's Metro Mortgage Assistance Plus program has increased their income limits for down-payment and closing cost grants. The new income limit is $100,680 for a household of two and $117,460 for a family of three or more. (There are other qualifications you must meet. See them here.)

For those keeping score at home, those limits are nearly $20,000 higher than the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority's income limits.

The increase comes as mortgage rates are set to increase and forecasts call for a double-digit increase in Denver home prices in the coming year.

(UPDATE: CHFA just updated their income limits as well.)
